The Accidental Project is a local Kansas City band formed in 2015. Since then, we have had the opportunity to play at numerous venues around town and in the region. You will be able to find us regularly at Mike Kelly’s Westsider in Westport, seasonally during summers at RJ’s Bob Be Que in Mission, KS and at various galleries, venues and private parties. We have preformed Live On Air on our local radio station 90.1 KKFI doing band auctions and various promotional events.
The Accidental Project performs original works primarily written be Jake Carmack our lead singer and rhythm guitar player. Occasionally our lead guitar/keyboard player/vocals, Jamey Hilleary, will lend some lyrics as well as Angela Carmack who plays cello/cornet/vocals. We do like to throw some choice covers in the mix we think all will enjoy. Rounding out our quintet is Jeremy Clark on bass and Ron Laundy on the pots and pans.
We like to describe our music as Americana Blues and Rock although we do go to the country and folk realm occasionally. Currently our project for 2020 is working on our second CD.
We really look forward to getting out to play again in the near future. Until then, you can find us on our Facebook page: theaccidentalproject as well as YouTube.
We really would like to thank you all for your support. We love each and every one of you who we see at our shows and consider you friends.
Carry on until we meet again.
